Q: What is supplied as standard?
A: All standard Vision Panels are supplied as complete pre-assembled twin glazed units, with glass, fixings, glazing seals, and full fitting instructions or templates.
Q: Do your Vision Panels fit all door thicknesses?
A: All our Vision Panels are manufactured to order. They are made to suit a specific door thickness; either a 35mm, 44mm or 54mm thickness and are not adjustable. If you have a non-standard thickness (e.g. to accommodate doors with laminates or walls) we can produce this on request.
Q: Are your Vision Panels supplied with glass and fixings?
A:All standard Vision Panels are supplied as a complete pre-assembled twin glazed unit, with glass, fixings, glazing seals, and full fitting instructions.
Q: Are your Vision Panels easy to install?
A: We have engineered our standard Vision Panels to be as simple as possible to install; They are supplied pre-assembled and the large flange enables you to conceal minor chipping made during the cutting of the aperture. To make the installation process even easier they are supplied with full fitting instructions and/or a cutting template. They can be retrofitted into existing doors (no need to take the door off its hinges), or installed into new doors. To fit just follow the supplied instructions using a jigsaw or router to cut the aperture in your door, then simply screw into place.
Q: Are they suitable for fire doors?
A: We can upgrade many of our standard Vision Panels to a 30 minute fire integrity (standard Vision Panels are supplied without a fire rating). A choice of clear, frosted, coloured or Georgian wired glass is available. Please contact us to discuss other fire rating options. (please contact us for more details).
Q: Are they suitable for installation in a front door/external application?
A: It is possible to install our Vision Panels in exterior doors. We can upgrade our standard internal to contain a sealed glazing unit. This helps prevent condensation and improve thermal performance. During installation Vision Panels should be sealed with a suitable sealant to prevent any moisture ingress. Toughened or laminated glass and tamper-resistant fixings can be specified to provide extra security.
Q: Can I fit your Vision Panels in a wall?
A: We can modify most of our
standard models to suit internal walls - you simply tell us your finished wall
thickness and type (e.g plasterboard, stud etc) and we make your Vision Panel
to suit. We can also manufacture them for
external applications as a special order - Please contact us to discuss the

Q: Do you sell outside the UK?
A: Yes, all our Vision Panels are available for worldwide mail-order, and we have many satisfied international customers (please note that our products are supplied to suit UK safety standards only) Carriage charges and lead times vary depending on the size and destination of your order. You can request a shipping quote by shopping on-line as usual: at the checkout process your basket will be sent to us to provide you with an international shipping quote for your proposed order. If you are happy with the quote you can pay for your order online.
Q: Can you supply different face finishes?
A: As standard our Vision Panels are manufactured from brush finish 304 grade stainless steel. We can also supply bright polished stainless steel faces, powder coated and brass finishes. There may a longer delivery time and higher unit price for these options. If you have a special requirement please give us a call and we will guide you through the options available.
Q: Can you make shapes not shown on your pricelist?
A:We can scale up or down many of our standard designs to your requirements, or create something totally new for you. As these are custom made to your requirements there may a longer delivery time and higher unit price - please contact us to discuss your precise requirements.
Q: Can you supply logos and /or signage etched on the glass?
A: Yes, we supply a range of standard etched signage options [click for standard signage page]. We can also etch custom signage, logos, and wording to your specification. Please contact us with your requirements for further details.
Q: How can I clean my Vision panels?
A:Stainless steel - Buff with soft lint free cloth. White sprit or a specialist polish (such as
our Professional Metal Polish, see pricelist for details) can be used to remove
stubborn stains. To prevent scratching
buff/clean in the direction of grain. Take care to prevent any cleaning
substances coming into contact with the glazing seals.
Glass – For best results use our Professional Glass Cleaning Solution (see pricelist for details). Spray onto a soft lint free cloth (not directly onto the glazing) and gently clean. Take care to prevent any cleaning substances coming into contact with the glazing seals.
